Philosophy is one of the most important fundamental aspects in developing 2013 curriculum to determine teaching and learning objectives processes. Accordingly, textbooks should represent ideas. It must be developed line with philosophical foundation curriculum. realize that emphasize critical thinking student character development. This study aimed reveal foundations LKS (Lembar Kerja Siswa) English ninth grade its compatibility an exercise guide for cognitive all form experimental or demonstration guide. used inferential content analysis on six units LKS-English grade, semester one, publisher by CV. Library Pillar. examined grade: existentialism, essentialism, perennials, humanism, social reconstruction, progressivism. also examines curriculum, including progressivism, idealism. So, there a harmony between Curriculum. The focus students' 21st-century skills, such as thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, creativity, innovation.
